KCARD78 Tarot Interpretation Standards and Sources
How KCARD78 uses classical tarot imagery, distinguishes upright and reversed meanings, selects comparisons and separates fixed articles from reading variations.
Scope
KCARD78 uses 78 tarot symbols to reflect on circumstances and choices. Dictionary articles are fixed editorial copy managed separately from varied reading sentences. Variation does not establish factual accuracy or predictive precision.
Classical imagery and references
The reference is A. E. Waite’s The Pictorial Key to the Tarot with imagery by Pamela Colman Smith. The linked transcription is the 1922 reprint of the work first published in 1910. Part II discusses Major Arcana symbolism; Part III describes Minor Arcana scenes and historical divinatory readings. Our own illustrations need not reproduce every classical detail.
Editorial applications
Relationship, work and money applications are KCARD78’s contemporary interpretations for reflection. They are not verbatim translations of historical predictions, and citing the source does not establish facts about your life.
Orientation
Upright and reversed meanings are perspectives, not automatic good and bad verdicts. Depending on the card and context, reversal can concern obstruction, excess, inward attention, delay or recovery.
Positions and comparisons
The question and position change a card’s role. Future positions suggest a direction to consider, not an established event. Related cards are selected examples for comparing meanings, not universal formulas for every pairing. Traditions can differ in their layouts and correspondences.
Limits
Tarot does not verify another person’s thoughts, diagnose illness or forecast investment returns. Important medical, legal, financial and safety decisions need real evidence and appropriate support. Reflection spreads are not psychological diagnosis or treatment. Compatibility scores follow entertainment rules, not a scientific assessment.
Corrections
Articles show their actual revision date, not a date renewed for search visibility. Use the contact page to report the URL and wording of an error. No unverified credentials or review claims are presented as author qualifications.
